iGen Photo App Privacy Policy
1. Data Collection
The iGen Photo app collects and stores images from your device's gallery or camera to facilitate transfer to the VQS system. We do not collect or access any personal data beyond the necessary image files and system configurations required for app functionality.
2. User-Provided Information
To use the app, users must provide a Client ID, Local URL, and Remote URL to establish a connection between the app and the VQS database. This information is solely used for connecting to the required system and is not shared or sold to third parties.
3. Image Processing and Uploading
The app processes images by uploading them to the VQS system. Once the upload is complete, users have the option to delete images from their device. Images are not automatically deleted unless this option is enabled by the user.
4. Local and Remote Server Connectivity
The app connects to both local and remote servers using the provided Local and Remote URLs. This functionality is only used to facilitate image transfers and does not expose your data to unauthorized third parties.
5. Image Deletion
Users have full control over the deletion of images from both the app and their devices. Images will not be deleted automatically unless the "Delete after upload" option is selected by the user.
6. Access to Camera and Gallery
The iGen Photo app requires access to your device’s camera and gallery to allow users to capture and upload images. This access is only used for the core functionality of the app and is not shared or stored elsewhere.
7. Security of Data Transfer
All image transfers between the app and the VQS system are secured using the appropriate network settings provided by the user. However, users are responsible for ensuring that their Local and Remote URLs are configured securely.
8. Storage and Retention of Data
The app does not store any data permanently. Images are only stored locally on the device until they are uploaded or deleted by the user. No image data is stored on our servers.
9. User Account and Authentication
The iGen Photo app does not require users to create a personal account. Authentication is done using the provided Client ID, which is obtained directly from VQS support and not stored or accessed by iGen.
10. Changes to Privacy Policy
Any changes to the privacy policy will be communicated within the app, and users will be required to review and accept any updates before continuing to use the application.
